Who We Are
Greg and Saryta Colbert have been married for over 18 years and served in ministry for over 17 years together. During this time they have always put an emphasis on their first ministry; The Colbert Crew. They have been blessed with 4 children. Over the years they have served in multiple ministry roles such as Children’s Pastor, Youth Pastor, Young Adult Pastor, Assistant Pastor, and Worship Director.

Soon after relocating, they started an event for marriages and singles entitled, Love, Sex, and Relation-Tips. This event gave people the opportunity to invest in their current relationship season. The heart of the event was summed up in one simple phrase “God’s way is not just right, it’s better!”

In 2007 they received their first assignment to Pastor a church that met in a seniors facility in Pittsburg, Ca. This opportunity led to them planting New Life Church in 2009 where they served for 4 years as the Senior Pastors. After 4 years of serving New Life Church, they were led to move to the Phoenix, AZ area in 2013.

Seeing the growing need in the area of relationships they started a ministry called Decide To Thrive. D2T exists to raise the standard of relationships and equip singles, marriages, and families to leave a thriving legacy. D2T has hosted relationship seminars, provided relationship coaching, and has recently released its first book entitled reTHINK reLATIONSHIPS.

More recently, Greg and Saryta served full-time on staff at Faith Christian Center in Phoenix, AZ. Greg served as the Youth Pastor and Worship Director and Saryta served as the Children’s Director.

Currently, they have felt the call to plant Thrive City Church in the west valley of the greater Phoenix, AZ area. The vision God has placed on their heart is to Reach, Teach and Release. Reach those who are far from God, teach them to become fully devoted followers of Christ and release them to walk in their God given purpose.

Greg and Saryta believe that they have been called for such a time as this to lead a church that is a City on a hill that helps those in need experience the true love of Jesus. Their life and family mission is to live life in such a way that people would see the fruit of their lives and want to experience the God they serve.
